Brighton for Blossoms

I’ve been a bit distant on the blog recently. I’ve spent the last month or so getting back to my normal self, I’m looking after myself and being more ‘present’… for once!

So this weekend I travelled to BRIGHTONNNNN <3

Setting off around midday on Saturday, we travelled two hours across country and spent the night. Having tickets to see Blossoms, we decided to make a weekend of it.

Starting with a well deserved lunch and beer on the sea front, in a cool little cafe in one of the arches called Lucky Beach. The food was lush, definitley recommend the Vegan Hippy Dip.. (avocado, sesame-roasted sweet potato, fennel hummus, edamame, tortilla, roasted tomato jus)

Heading for a wonder, we stopped at the Mesmerist for another beer. The Mesmerist has to be one of my favourite bars in the area with old vintage circus vibes, located in the centre of pretty much everything. We headed to the hotel after our quick pit stop, drank some gin, took a few photos and finally made our way to the Brighton Dome.

Our hotel was exactly what we needed for a night stay, somewhere to rest our heads after a night out and the room came with free breakfast too, winner winner!
Hotel: Britannia Study Hotel – Located on the high street, a rough 5 minute walk to the centre.

The next day, we checked out and took our poor hung over souls for a battle against the winds walk up Brighton Pier, with my hair looking like I had just been dragged through a bush; we escaped the wind by turning down the famous lanes for a well needed coffee, before a quick walk around the Brighton Pavilion. We ended up having lunch at Piano and Pitcher, a cute little place to grab ‘pub grub’ on the seafront.

As always, Brighton was awesome and I had the best time with these two beauties!
