Every year, time seems to flow by quicker and quicker. May has been and gone, and we are now half way through 2016, crazy!
My first and most enjoyable memory from May has to be Dubai. I traveled to Dubai, located in the Middle East between 5th- 13th May. A complete weather and cultural change, with the temperature at 40°C and rising; I struggled the first few days, going from 9°C in Poole, Dorset to an unbelievable 40°C was definitely hard to get used too!
I am incredibly grateful that I got a chance to visit such an amazing country and having the opportunity to travel to Abu Dhabi and see the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, along with the remarkable famous landmarks in Dubai itself was phenomenal!
I ticked a few things of my bucket list on my trip to Dubai, including skydiving, visiting the tallest building in the world, stepping foot in the desert and going on a safari!
I packed so much in on my trip to Dubai, I was visiting for just over a week and it was absolutely a trip of a lifetime!

A big thank you to my best friend who is currently living in Dubai for letting me stay with her and being my own personal tour guide on my trip – with her help, I managed to see everything and more!

My second highlight was my Dorset Adventures!
I traveled and explored Lulworth Cove, Blue Pool, Swanage and visited the Ape Rescue Centre; Monkey World.
I visited Lulworth Cove, Blue Pool and Monkey World in the same beautifully warm, sunny day, as they are all within 20 minutes of each other and living in England, making the most of the gorgeous weather was an absolute must!
Swanage is a beautiful town, full of quirky shops, cafes/restaurants, beaches, a beautiful railway which still uses steam trains and if you climb to the top of the hill by the pier, you are greeted with panoramic views of Swanage!

Make sure you climb the hill, it takes less than two minutes!
May Highlights
Skydiving over the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
Visiting Monkey World
Going to the top of the Burj Khalifa (The tallest building in the world!)
Finally stepping foot into the desert, and even going on a Safari Tour!
See the ever changing natural colours of Blue Pool

May – The Days We Live For
May is the first month I have felt comfortable writing and blogging, I am starting to find my feet and even created The Days We Live For Facebook page to share with non-WordPress users my adventures and photography.
I also created the ‘A Day Out in Dorset‘ category, a way to share my adventures in the beautiful place I call home, there are so many breath-taking places in Dorset; especially along the Jurassic Coast, I cannot wait to explore even more!
My travels in pictures is now live! I have always been passionate about photography and previously never had a home for my photographs, until now.

What is coming up in June?
I am super excited to step into June, for the first year ever I am volunteering at Glastonbury Festival 2016. Mainly being based on the Acoustic Stage, I cannot wait to get stuck in with festival life and work!
