I know I must be biased because I live here… but Poole is such a beautiful place to live. To be a five minute drive from views like this, I consider myself very lucky!
Last night was the first time I have been out, just myself and my camera taking pictures in around five years, and I must admit, it felt good! Very therapeutic!
Approaching Sandbanks, I stopped at the bottom on Evening Hill, located in Poole, Dorset and captured these photographs;
Once I had got back into my car, I noticed kite surfers enjoying a sunset surf in the distance. I decided to drive round to get a closer look and I definitely was not disappointed!
For half an hour I was completely in the present moment, I was mindful.
The reflection of the sun on the rippled tide created a beautiful atmosphere for the silhouetted kite surfers. I sat down and dangled my legs off the wall which separated the sea and the pavement and enjoyed every moment. The sea breeze was blowing through my hair, the smell of the salty air was surrounding and as the clouds came over the sun, the ripples became even more defined – Absolutely gorgeous!
