I first visited Glastonbury earlier this year for an hour and since then have been wanted to return to explore.
I got the chance to visit again after detouring home from an over night stay in Trudoxhill,Somerset. This time I had a little more than an hour. After stopping off for some coffee, we headed down the back lanes to find more street art. I knew it was around somewhere, just had to search!
Slightly away from the high street, there are two large murals colorfully painted on the walls.
‘Too much of a good thing can be wonderful’
A lovely little quote from Mae West, the American actress.
As we strolled through the town, surprised on how quiet Glastonbury was for a Sunday morning, it was a raining after all and to be honest, I definitely prefer the quietness.
When visiting Glastonbury, I learnt very quickly that you should wander down each alley way you come across. You never know what you will find, just look at this dreamy and magical courtyards..
The town is also home to the Glastonbury Abbey ruins, they look absolutely beautiful but for £7.50 each, for now I will enjoy the things Glastonbury has to offer for free, the art and it’s charm!
