Skydive Dubai

On 11 March 2016, I skydived 13,000 feet over the  Palm Jumeirah!

I have wanted to do a skydive for as long as I could remember, I looked into doing it in my hometown of Dorset, but was never amazed by the price for the view of fields. After booking my tickets for Dubai, I was scrolling through my Instagram and came across a single picture which influenced me to Skydive in Dubai and I definitely made the right decision – look at the incredible view!

I arrived at Skydive Dubai, located in Palm DZ at 13:00, I signed in, paid my remaining balance and waited for my name to be called. After a long wait, my name finally got called at 15:30, I got suited and booted and after a quick training session, I was ready to board the plane.. As we took off, It suddenly hit me that in a matter of minutes, I was about to jump out of a plane, over Dubai!

For anyone who has done skydiving before, will more than likely agree that it is the most incredible feeling! The intense adrenaline you get for free falling at 120 miles per hour is  indescribable and when the parachute is pulled and you are gliding through the air, you are completely blown away with the breath-taking views!

The view of the  Palm Jumeirah is unlike any other.. Not many people can say that they have seen The Palm from above, and I am fortunate enough to say I have!

With the Burj Al Arab and The World Islands also in distant view, I would recommend this skydive to anyone visit or living in Dubai.

I paid 1,999AED, which is equivalent to £370.00, to do a tandem skydive from 13,000 feet above the Palm Jumeirah and I am so glad I did. A truly incredible experience, it should definitely be on everyone’s Dubai to-do list!
